Flowing Water: Illinois' Streams and Rivers

Join us for a deep dive into the waters of Illinois! In the morning we’ll discuss moving water, species Illinois' streams and rivers support, and current ecological threats. In the afternoon we will visit a river or stream site and do hands-on research, including determining water quality, measuring velocity, and testing for the presence of macroinvertebrates or fish species. The public is welcome to this individual session, a part of the Master Naturalist training. $20.
