Info: The art show will begin with a workshop at Sterling Creative a week before this event. The show will evolve throughout the day of the event, beginning with a display of art by artists age 55 + and later the addition of art created by attendees guided by Kierstan Wolfsberg's presentation, Unmasking our Emotions. Vendors will fill the atrium and surrounding hall space. They are local businesses or regional organizations with services of interest to those who are embracing aging.

Info: This speaker is sponsored by the State Unit on Aging represented by Candise Johnnie, MPH. Megan Carnarius is an author and memory care consultant who will share insights gathered throughout 30 + years of working in her field. She will speak about Communication that Works and Companions on the Journey. Both topics will resonate with caregivers, those impacted by dementia and those who want a deeper understanding of Alzheimer's.

Kirsten is passionate about behavioral health education, training and working with people in a preventative manner, and believes feeling engaged in your community is a key component of that. Kirsten's presentation informs and engages participants. This is an interactive workshop which will ultimately contribute to the art show associated with this event.
