Nature Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration of Texas nature — full of hands-on fun, outdoor learning, and community connection.

In past years, guests have explored skulls and skins, met live reptiles, caught bugs, painted butterflies, played nature games, looked through microscopes and telescopes, learned about native plants and soil, and visited booths hosted by Texas Parks & Wildlife, Fossil Rim, Ranger College, Tarleton State University, and more.

Every family will receive a swag bag with nature goodies to take home. There’s something for everyone — kids, adults, and curious minds of all ages. Whether you’re chatting with wildlife biologists, doing a craft, taking a guided nature walk, or simply soaking in the sights and sounds of the outdoors, Nature Fest is designed to inspire.
