With great joy and anticipation, we are delighted to announce that Durga Pujo will once again be celebrated at our residence in Ell, Luxembourg, from 27th September to 2nd October 2024.
You are cordially invited to join us in this sacred and joyous occasion as we worship Maa Durga, the divine mother goddess, and celebrate her eternal victory over evil.
Durga Pujo is a deeply meaningful cultural and religious event for Bengalis and many others across India. We feel truly blessed to bring a slice of this tradition here, and to share it with you.
Just like last year, Maa Durga has chosen to grace our home in Ell, and we are once again honoured to welcome our priest (Thakurmosai) from Kolkata to perform the rituals. We hope to recreate the warmth and authenticity of a “Barir Pujo” (Homely Pujo) — complete with traditional rituals and Bhog Prasad.
As this is a home celebration, there will be no food stalls or cultural programs, in keeping with last year’s format. Instead, we aim to offer a soulful, intimate Pujo experience, with a deep personal connection to Maa Durga, just as many of you appreciated in 2024.
The Pujo Nirghonto (detailed timetable) will be shared soon.
