Date nights are great but know what’s better? Entire day dates! Get away this summer to spend a day on the river with your spouse and lots of other fun couples.
We will meet at Forum Christian Church at 6:30AM and drive down together in buses and vans so that we can take advantage of the time to get to know each other on the way. We’ll try and beat the rush and get off a bit before 10AM and then we’ll then spend the next six hours floating down the river in rafts with four couples to a raft.
Throughout the float, we will pull off to shore to rest, play some games, swim and change up rafts. We’ll pack a lunch to eat on the river so bring a small cooler with drinks/food of your choice. After a long day out in the sun, we’re usually starving so after changing into dry clothes, we’ll all enjoy grabbing dinner together around 5:00PM at a Mexican Restaurant called Los Arcos in Rolla. We should arrive home around 9:30PM or a bit before if all goes as planned.
Although the scenery is great and there’s lots of opportunity for fun, the connections made are maybe the best part. By the end of the day, you’ll have met so many great couples. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to relax and kick back with your spouse amongst an awesome community of couples.
- Cost is $90 per couple for floating.
- Last day to register is July 15.
- No refunds, but you can find replacements for yourselves— just communicate with us those changes.
- No childcare.
- Pack a lunch as well as a small cooler of drinks/snacks for you to have on the river. Bring a bag to leave on the bus with dry clothes to change into afterwards.
- Bring money for dinner at Los Arcos. Couples will pay for their own meals.
