Friends of the Yampa is partnering with licensed professional counselor Tiana Schneider to reconnect with the natural world during this guided mindfulness workshop.
Participants will meet at the Yampa River Center to learn more about the mindfulness and journaling process. Then we'll take a walk down to the river. At the Yampa, we’ll settle in for a guided nature journaling session — no artistic experience required — where you can capture your reflections, observations, and inspirations on paper. This workshop offers a chance to move at nature’s pace, nurture your creativity, and leave feeling refreshed and grounded.
What to bring: Walking shoes, water bottle and layers. If you have any art supplies or journals that you prefer to use or are already using, please bring it! Event happens rain or shine!
Provided: Light snacks, drinks, journals, and writing utensils.
