The annual Great Western Good Friday Rodeo has been a staple event in our local event calendar for years, bringing people from all over the state to our regional country town.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT
There is a fenced family-friendly area to ensure everyone can have a great time and enjoy the festivities in comfort.
FULLY CATERED
There are a variety of onsite food vans available to keep everyone hydrated and fed. You're welcome to BYO nibbles though too.
ONSITE BAR
The bar service features a ticket tent which you visit first to buy your rink tickets, then you line up for the bar to redeem them on whatever beverages you like. There will be a sign telling you how many tickets each of the drinks are as well.
FREE ONSITE CAMPING
Camping is available within the event grounds. It’s a first-in best-dressed allocation arrangement, so best to get there early if you want prime position. Caravans are most welcome but please keep in mind there is limited space. Swags and rooftop tents are preferred for this reason to ensure we can adequately fit everyone in comfortably.
NO BYO OR DOGGO FRIENDS
This is a strictly no BYO event with a family-friendly enclosure available. We also kindly ask that you leave your doggo friends at home as they are not permitted inside the official event grounds.
BRING CASH
It is recommended you bring cash with you as service for EFT machines can be challenging at times (due to the number of people at the event ground). There's nothing worse than waiting in line and getting to the bar to realise your card won't work. We're hoping to have a better solution in place this year but encourage people to come prepared if they can, just in case.
RECOVERY BREAKFAST
A recovery breakfast is available on Saturday morning from 7.30am for those wanting a safe place to pull up for the night. We’re sure an egg and bacon sandwich will help kick-start you the next morning!

Tickets can be purchased online. The portal will be made available closer to the event date so please check back again in early 2026 to secure yours!
