Terran Sunday Movie Night

Terran's Sunday Movie Night returns from the grave with 1968's Horror classic, "Night of the Living Dead". Film one of this October's spooktacular at the club begins with the most important zombie film of all time, which will pave the way for three more zombie flicks and a final film club Halloween festivity (save the date for October 26th!). Guests are encouraged to arrive around 18:00, with lights going down at 18:20. There will be a brief presentation, and then a discussion will be held. As always, popcorn will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring any other snacks or drinks they might desire.

"Night of the Living Dead" from George Romero is regarded as a classic for a reason. The film is responsible for the modern conception of a zombie, and has spawned innumerable sequels, copies, and reinterpretations. If you've ever seen a zombie movie or played a zombie game, you've got "Night of the Living Dead" to thank for it. "Night of the Living Dead" isn't just an iconic picture for its monsters, though. The film remains relevant as a critique on racism in communities, and this extra edge gives it some teeth (ha ha) compared to some of its more pat imitators. It's a great film, a ton of fun, and an awesome way to spend a chilly October evening. See you there!
