Soap Making with Share the Soap

Come join Ms. Tori to learn how she makes such amazing goat milk soap! Beginners are encouraged to come and learn how to make and design your own soap in this two hour class. You can also follow one of Ms. Tori’s designs if you’d like! You will learn the basics of making goat milk soap using the heat transfer/cold-process method. Students will also learn how to safely handle lye, how to use natural colorants and micas, how to use essential oils and plant fragrances to scent your handmade soap. At the end of class you will feel confident in following a recipe to make your own soap at home. Ms. Tori will also load you up with resources to continue your making of your own soap at home. When you leave you will have approximately 8ox of goat milk soap to take home. (NOTE: you will need to cure your soap at least 3 weeks before using it) Ms. Tori will also provide a cake of soap for you to use while yours is curing!

Every student needs to bring a long-sleeved shirt to wear over their clothing, wear close-toed shoes and bring a hair clip or rubber band to pull their hair back if their hair is long!
