Atlanta based American Blues artist Tinsley Ellis will be performing live at the Emma Kelly Theater this fall 2025.
Tinsley Ellis's gritty, hard-rocking, high-voltage Blues music style has earned him the respect of blues artists and music fans across the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and South America. Tinsley has been regarded as a national treasure and cemented his reputation as one of the most prolific and exciting blues-rockers on the scene.
📀 As a young musician back in 1972 - 1981, Tinsley was an essential member of the hard-driving Atlanta blues group "The Alley Cats" and he went on to found Atlanta's top-drawing blues band, "The Heart Fixers". After four albums and countless concerts with the Heartfixers, Tinsley set out on his own, recording "Georgia Blue" and surprising the public as his music spread like wildfire to new fans across the country.
🎙 Now, Tinsley has recorded 21 albums, his most recent being his first completely solo original album titled, "Naked Truth". "Naked Truth" reveals a stripped-back, emotionally raw acoustic sound that intertwines with Tinsley's gruff, full vocals seamlessly to create powerful, timeless tracks that introduce a new side of the artist.
📆With a successful music career spanning over 4 decades, Tinsley is still performing exceptional concerts around the globe with his signature feral, electric blues-rock style. Join us in the historic Emma Kelly Theater on October 17th, 2025 to hear him perform his original music and more live.
