Diggin' The Big Apple "Open" Beach Hunt! 2025

Get ready for another exciting event brought to you by NYC’s Only Metal
Detecting Club the Staten Island History Hunters It’s the– “Diggin the Big
Apple” OPEN Seeded Beach Hunt!
On Sunday, October 5th, 2025, join us at Midland Beach Staten Island,
right by Parking Area #9, for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie,
and the possibility of uncovering hidden coins, silver, Gold and awesome
prizes!
[The day starts at 9:00 AM with registration for our event with Coffee
and donuts. Be sure to arrive on time to secure your spot! Remember,
there is a strict maximum limit of 100 participants, so don't wait too
long to register. It’s Already starting to fill up
For all eager novices out there, we've got something special in store
for you! Prior to the hunts, we will be holding a Novice Training Class,
where experienced members will share valuable tips and techniques to
enhance your metal detecting skills. It's the perfect opportunity to learn
from the best!
We have not one but two exciting big silver hunts planned for the day –
a Morning Hunt and an Afternoon Hunt. This gives you two chances to
uncover some incredible coins and amazing prizes.
But wait, there's more! For those feeling extra adventurous and looking
for a real challenge, we have an optional Gold Hunt, where only the
most skilled detectorists will find the hidden gold tokens!
Oh did mention that a Free New York Style Pizza Lunch is also
included.
Now, I know you're wondering about the entry fees. Before the event, the
registration fee is Ninety-Five dollars, which is an absolute steal
Nowhere else in the Tri-state area is a hunt under $100 for the experience
you'll have and the prizes you might win.

The Optional Gold Hunt is $30.
However, for those who decide to wait to join us on the day of the event
without prior registration, the walk-on fee will be One hundred &
Twenty Dollars. Only If spots are still available on the day of!!!!. So, get
your registrationin quickly and save some money!
Now, here's the best part – One hundred percent of the entry fees
collected will be reinvested into the event, finds and prizes. Yes, you
heard it right! Every dollar you pay goes right back into making this event
even more thrilling and rewarding!
