About the event

Wheel of Wellness Day - Find what balances your life!
The Lupine Wellness Center is set to host a Wheel of Wellness Day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, on the Heritage Plaza Lawn behind the Carl R. Reng Student Union. The purpose of this event is to show students the wheel of wellness and allow them to see all of the things that are available on campus that fit into the wheel, as well as help them find their wellness balance.

To register for a table at the event, please fill out the form located at https://astate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2lSuJbMYRL8dgbA. The last day to register your organization is October 15.

The wellness wheel is a tool for self-exploration that promotes the concept that balance is the key to wellbeing. When it was first conceived by Dr. Bill Hettler, he outlined six dimensions of wellness as markers to help individuals accomplish a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle and live a life of value and meaning.
Over time, the wheel has grown to include seven categories. Today, the dimensions on the wellness wheel include physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, and occupational wellness. These are all separate yet interconnected categories that contribute to reaching a balanced life, according to talkspace.com.

The Lupine Wellness Center invites departments, clubs, colleges, and any other organizations on campus that fit within the wheel of wellness to attend a tabling and bring along a wellness activity or knowledge to share with students.

The Lupine Wellness Center provides a range of outpatient services to children, adolescents, and adults in the community. These services may include academic interventions, behavioral parent training, behavioral therapy for children, consultations, psychoeducational workshops, family therapy, individual therapy, marital or couples therapy, play therapy, and social skills training.

Clinicians address a broad range of issues such as autism, depression, anxiety, relationship and interpersonal problems, emotional and behavioral problems, academic issues (e.g., reading, mathematics, writing, etc.), and problems with stress and coping. In-person and/or telehealth sessions are available.

A-State students receive free services. A-State faculty, staff, and their families also receive free services. Services for the Northeast Arkansas community are available on an affordable sliding scale. No insurance required.
