Are you prepared to run a defensive shotgun with speed, confidence, and control under pressure?Protector Shotgun I: Core Combat Shotgun is a full-day training experience focused on building your foundational combat shotgun skills for personal defense and real-world scenarios.
This is not a “bird gun” or clay shooting course — this is tactical, mindset-driven, performance-focused training for those serious about defending home and life with a 12-gauge or 20-gauge shotgun.
🧠 What You’ll Learn:
- Defensive shotgun selection, setup, and deployment
- Proper mounting, ready positions, and recoil management
- Emergency reloads: over, under, and "violin-style" methods
- Patterning, point-of-aim vs. point-of-impact awareness
- Positional shooting and cover-based problem-solving
- Movement drills and target transitions under time
- “Cruiser Ready” deployments
This course blends technical skill-building with realistic defensive application, using a layered progression of dry and live-fire drills designed to reinforce performance under stress.
🎯 Who Should Attend:
- Armed citizens looking to master the defensive shotgun
- Home defenders wanting a close-quarters solution
- Intermediate shooters ready to take their skills further
- First responders, LEO, or church safety team members building tactical fluency
- No prior shotgun course is required, but safe gun handling and basic shooting experience are mandatory.
🔧 Required Equipment:
- Reliable pump-action or semi-auto shotgun (12ga or 20ga preferred)
- Side-saddle or ammo carrier strongly recommended
- Minimum 200 rounds of birdshot, 20 rounds of buckshot, and 5 slugs
- Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Quality sling (2-point preferred)
- Weather-appropriate clothing, food/water, note-taking gear
