Master the Wu-Tang Sword: Beginner Swordsmanship
You are invited to fulfill your lifelong fantasy of becoming a master of the Wu-Tang Sword. Led by Wudang Daoist Sword Master Xia Chongyi, this class is the perfect introduction to the art of swordsmanship.
Our weekly beginner class is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Then stay until 7PM once your basics are done and you can move to choreography and/or fencing. Once comfortable with the material, you can also attend our Friday Evening regular sword class.
This session will get you started with essential warm-ups, basic drills, fundamental skills, stances, and theory. Once you learn the primary 7 Skills and foundational stances, you will be prepared to move on to more advanced studies in form and fencing.
Wooden swords are provided at no charge, and premium swords are available for sale if you continue the program.
