The Lighthouse

Keeping secrets, are ye?
When you’re trapped with nothing but your secrets and the sea, which will break you first?

On a remote and mysterious New England island, pounded by the Atlantic, two men are tasked with tending the light. One is a salty veteran (Willem Dafoe), clinging to maritime superstition; the other, a novice (Robert Pattinson), is a quiet man trying to outrun his past. As an endless storm engulfs the island, the suffocating isolation and an ever-present fog begin to erode the boundaries between them, and between sanity and madness. The Lighthouse is a hypnotic and brine-soaked descent into a mythic fable of masculinity, envy, and the terrifying secrets that surface when there is nowhere left to hide.
