October begins with a legend on the big screen.

October is one of the most anticipated months for films at The State with packed houses, lively crowds, and electric energy. We’re kicking off the season with Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, a gothic retelling of Washington Irving’s classic legend.

Johnny Depp stars as Ichabod Crane, a detective whose pursuit of reason collides with the terror of the Headless Horseman. With its moody atmosphere and stunning production design, Sleepy Hollow showcases Burton at his most confident and sets the stage for a month of unforgettable films.
