When the world insists you are someone you’re not, how do you prove who you are before you’re erased completely?

Roger Thornhill (Cary Grant) exists in a world of smooth surfaces and easy charm, an advertising man of little consequence. But when a simple coincidence causes him to be mistaken for a phantom government agent, his comfortable reality is violently torn away. He is plunged into a surreal labyrinth of espionage where no one is who they seem and every landmark becomes a potential deathtrap.
