The Star City Library will host a bingo night on Friday, March 13 2026, 6:00-8:30 pm at the Star City Civic Center. Everybody age 18+ is invited to play and take a chance on winning cash prizes throughout the bingo sessions. A total of $500 will be up for participant’s to score and take home.
This event is one of the library’s main fundraiser for the upcoming children's programs during Summer Reading 2026. Funds will be used to buy craft supplies for activities, material to use during programs, and new books for the kids to read during the summer.
Bingo night is the perfect opportunity to bring the community together by providing a couple of hours of fun while raising money for the library’s children’s programming.
Doors for the bingo night will open at 5:30 pm, games will start at 6 pm. Bingo guests have to be at least 18 years old to attend.
Players will have the chance to choose between two sets of bingo cards at the entrance: Participants can play 6 cards at a time for the cost of $15.00 per bingo booklet, or 9 cards at a time for $20.00. All booklets will last throughout the entire bingo night. Additional bingo cards can be purchased anytime.
Bingo players will also have the chance to win door prizes during the event. Tickets will be handed out to everybody at the door. All prizes are generously donated by local businesses to support the Star City Library.
Refreshments during the event will be provided by Mike’s Place. A small bake sale is also in the planning. The bingo fundraiser will be registered with the State of Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. The license will be posted at the venue doors.
