Wildflowers of the West: An Artist's Guide

Gazing across alpine meadows and along forested paths, wildflowers grab our attention and symbolize the abundance of summer in the North Cascades. As we say goodbye to long days and as petals turn to fruits, this class will take time to memorialize the wildflowers of summer. Artist, author, and long-time PNW resident, Molly Hashimoto, will guide participants in how to represent wildflowers in watercolor and other water-based media.

Bring your own favorite photos from your summer excursions or use Molly's. We will paint individual species, as well as mountain landscapes splashed with colorful flower meadows. Molly's new book Wildflowers Of The West: An Artist's Guide will provide countless examples. No materials required. Space is limited, so register today.
