What is Forest Bathing? 🌲
Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku, is a guided nature connection experience that invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. It’s not a hike or a workout—it’s about being present, noticing, and letting nature gently calm and restore you.
Studies have shown that forest bathing can reduce stress, improve mood, boost immune function, and increase clarity and creativity. It’s a powerful yet simple way to reconnect with yourself and the natural world.
What to Bring:
To make your experience as enjoyable as possible, please bring:
• Water to stay hydrated
• A snack for after the session
• Anything else that makes you comfortable, such as a small mat, camp chair, insect repellent, or hat
This is a slow, mindful practice, and we’ll be moving at a relaxed pace. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for natural terrain.
We can’t wait to share this peaceful time in the woods with you!
