Your day begins with a warm welcome at Tanfield Railway at 11:00am, where you'll board a beautifully restored steam train and enjoy a scenic heritage journey through the stunning Causey countryside.
Train departs at 11:20am – sit back, relax, and take in the nostalgic sights, sounds, and steam. Following your journey, return to the tranquil surroundings of South Causey Inn, where a traditional Afternoon Tea awaits. Indulge in a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, dainty cakes, and your choice of tea or coffee – all served in the rustic charm of our country Inn.
