🧙🦸Calling all ghosts and goblins , witches and fairies, super heroes and princesses , cartoon and book characters....you get the idea. Get those costumes on (or just come for the fun) and join us for a spooky good time!!
The Halloween festivities have been expanded, yet again, this year! 𝗡𝗘𝗪 this year are the Good Old Days Cruise-In, LIVE music by Kickin' & Pickin', food trucks, and a raffle drawing for a custom fire pit by Fire Line Metal Works!
🚗The Cruise-In will have a $10 minimum entry fee donation per vehicle, which will go to support HOOAH Deer Hunt For Heroes.
Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Most Unique, and Kids Choice. We have some beautiful prizes for our winners from Fire Line Metal Works.

This is an incredible local non-profit organization that supports wounded veterans by sharing their passion for hunting and fishing in a unique way that enables soldiers to experience the outdoors in capacities they may not have known were possible, promoting both mental and physical healing while providing networking opportunities with other soldiers and civilians.
Representatives from HOOAH Deer Hunt for Heroes will be on site to talk and answer any questions about their amazing organization as well as show off their trailer, ATV, handicap accessible equipment, AND they will have some swag available for purchase as well!
🥷Bring the kids out for the annual Costume Parade. Line up is at the Allin Township Library and they will walk to the park. If you aren't participating in the parade, be sure to come out and watch the kiddos and see all the adorable costumes. This is such a fun event for them each year where they look forward to showing off their costumes!
Costume Contest judging will take place at the park at 4:00pm!
🌭Bonfire, weenie roast, and s'mores will be available at the park, provided by the Allin Township Park District! THANK YOU!!
🎃Want to come play with us for the Trunk or Treat? Bring your vehicle and candy/treats down to the park ahead of the costume parade and get to decorating! The Trunk or Treat commences directly after the parade. All are welcome to decorate a trunk and pass out candy for this fun event! The kiddos love to see what you come up with each year!👀👣
🍲🍰Think you have the best chili recipe or the most scrum-diddly-uptious pie? Enter the Chili Cook Off or Pie Contest! No need to pre-register. There is a $5 fee per chili or pie entry, due at the time of drop off. Entries need to be dropped off at the pavilion at Pippin Park at 3:00 pm the day of the festivities!
🎟️We have another opportunity to win a gorgeous custom fire pit from Fire Line Metal Works. This will be for a 30" round fire pit. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and can be purchased the day of the event, as well being available for purchase online. There will be a separate post regarding this.
Kickin & Pickin will be out again providing LIVE music at the park! This unique and highly entertaining one man band was a hit at the Good Old Days Festival, so we're bringing him back!
