Off the Page is a live event series held monthly across libraries in the Wigan Borough. In these sessions, we will explore different topics around the craft of writing, the business of being an author, and the real-world insights behind recently published books.
Session 1- Writing non-fiction that gets published

As CEO of Maddison House Press, a local independent publishing company, Gemma Holgate works with lots of manuscripts but what makes great non-fiction? Gemma will be taking you through the elements she looks for when publishing self-help and business books, and how you can include them in your projects.
This is a free, relaxed session, to meet like-minded people. Hot drinks will be available.
