January can be a strange month.
There’s often a strong cultural pull toward fixing, improving, and deciding who we’re supposed to be next. And for many of us, that pressure doesn’t feel motivating — it feels exhausting.
This month’s Calm & Centered gathering is an invitation to step out of that noise.
Instead of resolutions, we’ll explore rhythms — the quieter, more sustainable patterns that support our nervous systems and help us feel steady in our bodies and present in our lives.
In our time together, we’ll gently explore:
what it means to return to the present moment
how the body holds information and wisdom
simple grounding practices that don’t require fixing, forcing, or pushing
noticing without judgment
There’s no expectation to perform, share, or arrive any particular way.You don’t need experience with meditation or wellness practices. This is simply a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
Calm & Centered is a free, community-based offering I facilitate monthly at Nature’s Whole Food Depot. Donations are always appreciated, but never required.

The body already knows what it needs. Sometimes we just need a quiet place to listen. 🫶🏼🪷
