It’s that time of year again where you want chili and mead! Our 13th Annual Chili Cook-Off will be Saturday October 18th from 11 am to 3 pm.
The winery will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.
Naughty Bawdy Brigade will be our entertainment for this cookoff <3
We'll also have vendors, which include:
Red Ghost Foods (Spices... that could spice up not only your chili's, but other delicious foods)
Winter Walker (Handmade art (prints and stickers)
Whimsy Gals (Jewelry, buttons, and pouches)
3 Celts (Graphic Clothes designer)
Info about the Chili:
The contest is free to enter and there is no registering needed to compete.
Bring a large crock-pot of your best chili (with fixings if yours needs it) and a ladle. We suggest at least a 6 or 8-quart size pot.
There tends to be many people tasting and judging the chilis. You don’t want to miss votes because your chili ran out.
We will have spoons and bowls for everyone.
There will be electric to keep the chilis warm.
Chili's need to arrive by 11:00am
Judging will begin by noon and end at 3 pm.
Judging is open to the public so again make sure you have enough
Winner will be announced as soon as the votes are tallied.
Prizes:
1st Place will a trophy and receive a gallon growler of mead and a 32oz jar of honey
2nd Place will receive trophy and a half gallon growler of mead and a 16oz jar of honey
3rd Place will receive a trophy a J. Bird Wines t shirt and a 8oz jar of honey
More prizes may be added
