The Quiet Return: A Unity Retreat Day
Saturday 17th January 2026 | 10am – 4pm
Exton Village Hall, Rutland
£70 (with financial accessibility options available – please see below)
This retreat is open to all adults, regardless of background, experience, identity or ability.
After the rush of Christmas and New Year, The Quiet Return offers a soft landing - a day to gently reconnect and rebalance.
This day-long retreat offers a gentle blend of movement, singing and sound practices to ground, uplift and restore. Whether you’re seeking calm, connection or creative renewal, you’ll be warmly welcomed into a space of care and community.
Held in the heart of Rutland, in the beautifully serene village of Exton, The Quiet Return is a space to soften, stretch and sing. Whether you're new to these practices or returning to them, you'll be warmly welcomed.
What’s included:
- Guided movement, breath and restorative workshops lead by Rae, Founder of MoveBreathLiveWell. These sessions are inspired by the wisdoms of Qi-gong and Yoga and offer accessible movement for all bodies and minds.
- ‘Rooted Resonance’ lead by Claudia, Co-founder of Unity Retreats. Movement-led vocalisation to awaken grounded voice, emotional release and authentic connection.
- Soulful Singing lead by Sarah, Founder of Wa Wa Women and creator of Soulful Sundays. A space of gentle belonging, where we gather not to perform, but to feel, release and reconnect.
- Live illustration keepsake created by Liz, Founder of Live Lines Illustrations. Throughout the retreat, a live illustrator will beautifully capture moments from our shared experience - creating a unique visual story of the day. Each participant will receive a digital copy, offering a heartfelt and artful way to remember the magic we created together.
- A shared lunch (everyone brings a dish to share)
- Refreshments throughout the day (tea, coffee, soft drinks and light snacks)
- We’ll provide everything you need for the day, but if you have a yoga mat or any personal equipment you love using, feel free to bring it along. No prior experience is needed - all are welcome, just as you are.
