First information drop about a huge event this year for @everyone
We will be linking with Bourne Outdoor Swimming Pool to put on our very own Swimarathon.
12 hours of swimmers.
Basic outline, We are looking at the following plans:
5 lanes,
Teams of 8-10 swimmers per lane.
Each lane will have 2 swimmers swimming at each time, one up, one down.
Teams will try and complete as many lengths as possible.
Prizes for the most number of lengths completed in the 50minute time slot.
Prizes for the best dressed team.
Prizes for the best team name.
Lots of spot prizes on the day.
Prize for the team with the highest sponsorship.
What we need from you on the day.
Each lane must raise at least £200. That's £20 per swimmer, we think that's easily achievable..... But obviously you can raise more.
You will arrive, get changed, swim and enjoy.
Hopefully we will get local corporate sponsorship on board, sponsoring a lane, or an hour, or your teams....
There are so many options.
But, please let's get talking about this and get the date in your diary.

Do you run a sports team, a company team, old swimmers who are still swimming, a group of friends, schools, pretty much anyone could get a team together.
If you want to swim but don't have a team we will accommodate that too.
We need 60 teams, that's around 600 swimmers..... What an awesome day this is going to be!!!!!!
