On Wednesday 8th Oct at 10:45 we are planting 3 Oak trees, the acorns of which came from the drop Zone at Arnhem.
They are being planted at Grimsthorpe castle near Bourne Linc's and will be called the " Grimsthorpe Arnhem oaks"
In memory of the men billeted there prior to Market Garden.
Some came back.......eventually
For others...it was to be their last home before their final HOME at the Arnhem cemetery.
