Class Length: 8 weeks, 6pm-9pm each Wednesday, beginning September 10th
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Tuition: $240 (+ $65 materials fee)
Class Description: Weather you want to focus on hand building or throwing on a potter’s wheel, if you are ready to push yourself beyond the basics and advance your skills then this is the class for you. Students will be asked to present ideas for personal projects at week one, and will then work independently to meet those project goals. Throughout the session, the instructor will demonstrate more complicated building techniques, and discuss student progress individually. Students should have proficient knowledge in throwing, basic hand building and glazing. Emphasis will be placed on working with intent, design and execution of more complicated projects, and the development of a personal style. This is NOT a class for beginners but rather a great class for the more intermediate to advanced student looking for independent study with teacher oversight, guidance and discussion of progress.
Age Limitations: Ages 18 & Up
