Singer-songwriter Rod E. Morris grew up on the golden sounds of 70s FM radio—and you can hear that influence in both the songs he writes and the ones he chooses to cover.

“I’ve always loved a good story song,” he says. Raised in a musical family, Rod’s father played mandolin in a Western Swing band, and their Friday night jam sessions often stretched well into Saturday mornings. That love for music and storytelling shaped Rod’s own path—writing songs that tell stories and seeking out meaningful narratives in the songs he performs.

Rod has shared his music across the globe, from Eastern Europe, Africa, and Israel to stages all over the U.S.—from Chicago and California to New Orleans’ French Quarter and the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, where he won the ‘Bluebird Picks’ contest.
