Wild Space Gallery presents a conversation with painter Jeff Ripple and curator Noel Smith as they explore Ripple’s luminous landscapes. Learn about the poetic realism and inspiration behind his depictions of Florida’s wild prairies, rivers, trails, and abundant fauna.

About the artist:
Jeff Ripple is a Florida artist whose studio-based works are derived from on-site plein air studies, sketches, and photographs. His paintings focus on Florida's ever-changing panoramas of sky, light, and water, and achieve a kind of poetic realism that invites contemplation of our country's historical relationship to our natural environment.
