Fun games for fundraising.

The event is in order to raise funds for our amazing friend and fellow scout leader Kris. A few weeks ago, Kris was living a normal life. Out of the blue, he had a seizure, he went to A&E where unfortunately after a CT scan, he were told it was a lesion on the brain and he had to be admitted immediately.He was referred to Addenbrookes Hospital Neurosurgery and was told he had a tumour between speech and motor skills part of his brain. After a long surgery Kris received the devastating news that he has a fast growing stage 4 cancerous tumour known as a Glioblastoma. Best case scenario he has another 12 months even with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Kris has 2 children and a fiance so ver since his family have been trying to find some way to extend, if not cure this terrible disease.

They found an amazing guy who has been through this diagnosis and treatment. He was given a year, 3 years later he is cancer free and tumour free. This is due to a series of "vaccines" formulated in Germany. The clinic in Germany develops injectable treatment that is completely formulated based on your tumour's genetic makeup. It is a series of vaccines over the course of many months, all administered in Germany.

As a scout group we are fundraising to support Kris through the process and out to the other side so he can enjoy life with his fiance and children.
