Join us for our next opening reception for INFINITE LANDSCAPE-NEW PAINTING BY NEEKA ALLSUP. Neeka has been hard at work in her studio creating a new series of oil paintings that play with math, psychology, symbolism and metaphor.
This series of 7 new 30”x42” oil on canvas works have the same background and foreground, but feature 7 unique icons:
the living fossil
the abyss
the house of bare necessities
the house in the woods
the candle
the fox
the two creatures living in a bubble
When you have 7 unique items, there are 5,041 different ways you can arrange them. Here are just a few permutations:

On Sept 20th you get to see 1 of 5,041 different ways 7 paintings can be arranged for an infinite landscape. There will be a 32 page document of all permutations in columns of 3 (one column of permutations was a 97 page document) for viewing. Because it’s fun to see them.
