Big free JAZZ night! Hear some classic free jazz!

Filament @filamentnyc is coming in from Brooklyn!!!! “A downtown jazz trio with heavy influences, doing [their] best to keep it weird!” Definitely for fans of the genre.

Joining them are local faves Constant Drip, a musically diverse quartet of Ariel Kenyatta @lion.man700 on the reeds, bringing the JAZZ blowing, Michael Williams @joyeahjox on guitar, brining the Derek Bailey inflected no wave skronk, Bob Ross @bobross6321 on bass bringing the steady low rumble and last but not least Andre Lubart on percussion bringing the classical conservatory flavor. One of my favorite groups going in St. Louis, and that’s the honest the truth.

Finally is the trio of Lex Kosieradzk @_mr_lex_ on sax, Damon Smith @newmusicbass on double bass, and Andre Lubart returning to the stage for a second set. These people are pros y’all, the technique is immaculate amongst these three.

All in all it will be a very accomplished show.
