Alvin Garrett is the soul of a generation redefined—an award-winning songwriter, powerhouse vocalist, and sonic architect whose music bridges the classic and the contemporary with seamless brilliance. With a voice that evokes the velvet grit of Al Green and Sam Cooke and the conviction of modern R&B storytellers, Garrett is setting a new standard in Southern Soul and Steppers R&B. Whether penning hits for chart-topping legends or commanding the mic with his own emotionally resonant anthems, Garrett isn’t chasing trends—he’s creating timeless experiences. A Tuscaloosa, AL native with deep musical roots and business acumen to match, Garrett first emerged as a behind-the-scenes songwriting force, crafting hits across R&B and adult contemporary for artists such as Joe, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, Noel Gourdin, Jordan Knight, and Ruben Studdard.
