Midnight Library Collaboration: Intuitive Painting (Adults)

This is an exciting collaboration with The Story Collective and St. Joe Reads! Using themes from the book, The Midnight Library, participants of this workshop will dive into the idea of process painting or painting without thinking. This technique uses breathing techniques to calm the body and allow the subconscious to take over the painting. Layers are created and participants and given the freedom to connect with their inner feelings. A summary and themes from the book may be discussed along with the artwork itself. The artwork will be showcased during an event at the Story Collective on September 13th.

This just in! We are going to be pairing our painting with two elixirs from Travelers Hearth to set the mood and get us in the right mind for this event.

Blue Lotus Ascension (Chilled)
A dreamy, chilled elixir crafted with sacred Blue Lotus and a touch of lemon to awaken the sense and open the third eye. This ancient flower has been used for centuries in ritual and meditation for its mildly euphoric and visionary effects. Sip slowly and let your spirit rise.
For: spiritual elevation, dreamlike focus, creative flow

Root and Release (Hot)
A warming, deeply grounding infusion of Kava Kava, Ashwagandha, and Rhodiola-blended to quiet the noise, release tension, and anchor you into your body. This earthy tonic is your invitation to soften, settle, and create from a place of embodied presence.
For: relaxation, nervous system reset, grounded creativity.
