Bill Fullerton and Duke Snider, both winemakers and members of the Greater Kansas City Cellar Masters, are organizing this event.
They are planning a wine apple crush in the morning and a brewing crush starting at 1:30 PM. Bill has invited several groups, including the Missouri Mashers, KC Brewmasters, ZZ Hops, Pack 816, and the Johnson County Brewing Society.
Brewers Cider Crush
- Date: September 20th
- Time: Starting at 1:30 PM until we finish, followed by a BBQ and BYOB beer
- Location: Duke Snider’s home/farm (22 miles south of St. Joe)
More details about the food will be provided by Duke after sign-up. It costs $10 per bucket (2.5 gallons of juice), and participants should bring their own bucket and lid. Please sign up and pay by September 10th.
This will be a hands-on cider crush, so expect to be cutting apples, loading the scraper, and cleaning the cider press. Dress appropriately for the event.
