About the event

Get to Know Your Sewing Machine workshop

For anyone who has a sewing machine but does not feel confident about using it. During the morning you will learn what different parts of the machine are called and what they do, how to change a needle and also a presser foot, try the different stitches the machine offers. After lunch you will have the opportunity to use the knowledge gained to make a lined bag.

You will need to bring the following:

A working sewing machine plus any accessories, including bobbins, and a manual if you have one.
Sewing threads
Scissors
Packed lunch
