Join us for a special FREE lunchtime talk with one of Jersey’s leading artists, Layla May Arthur, as she shares the story, process, and challenges behind her immersive paper installation: Jersey; My Childhood Home.

Delicate and intricate, this work is as much about personal memory as it is about Jersey’s cultural heritage — and as much about shadows as it is about light.

What connects us to a place? What shadows project the shape of our belonging?

In the informal setting of the gallery, Layla will guide us through the journey behind the work — exploring all twelve parishes of Jersey through paper-cut patterns of sea, sky, and sand, interwoven with her own memories of island life.
