A Spooktober One-Shot: Horror at Devil's Run

The small farming village of Devil’s Run is about to have its yearly pumpkin festival. Unbeknownst to many, Old Pete Barker, a pumpkin farmer of many years, was having difficulty growing his pumpkins. Pete doesn’t have an ample water source, unlike Molly Simms, his primary rival for the festival's coveted largest pumpkin award, whose farm sits near a stream. Fixated on winning the grand prize, Old Pete made a deal with a dark force, the Feeder of Desires, but the deed cost him and the village dearly.

Meet the DM, Jon:
GM Jon is a life-long resident of greater Cincinnati and has been a fan of tabletop gaming for years. He leads sessions locally, online, and at national gaming conventions, including Gen-Con and Origins Game Fair, many for well-known publishers including Goodman Games (Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG) and Game Master Worlds (Worlds at a Glance:Towns & Villages, Encounters at a Glance: Into the Wild). Jon uses a cast of creative voices, engaging visual effects, and the game rules as guard rails, all brought together to tell a story with the players at the table. He enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, Daggerheart, Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG, Call of Cthulhu, and many more game systems.
