A reminder that the Home&Garden, Arts&Crafts and Public Affairs Sub Committees are holding a joint Open Day for W.I. and non members on September 27th, at Eirianfa, Denbigh from 10am till 4pm. Admission is £1 to include a cuppa. More details in the Newsletter, there will be demonstrations ongoing during the day, and goods to buy including CAKE!
Tomos Hughes, Co-ordinator for Save a Life Cymru, will be present all day to give expert guidance on resuscitation and the use of a defibrillator. This is part of our Resolution this year 'Bystanders can be Lifesavers ' - this will be a great opportunity for you to hone your skills.
The Co-Op Supermarket group will be present as part of it's promotion of 'Fairtrade week' to emphasise the importance of backing producers from poorer countries. W.i. members who have a Co-Op card will be entered for a special draw.
