Joel Miller & Magnus LaBillois

Jazz returns to Salty Towers on Saturday, October 11 with the exciting first time ever duo collaboration of Joel Miller on saxophone and Magnus LaBillois on guitar.

Joel is a critically acclaimed jazz saxophonist, arranger and composer who has played at the Montreal Jazz festival and toured with Jazz greats like Brian Blade. Joel's compositions, improvisations, albums and shows continue to be recognized with awards (Juno win 2012, ECMA 2012, 2016, 2021).

Magnus is a graduate of St Francis Xavier's Music Department in jazz guitar. With a background in jazz, classical, and rock music, Magnus pulls from a diverse set of traditional and modern influences.

We are über excited to hear what this new collaboration has in store for us.
