4-Piece indie soul-rock darlings, The Zummers have been causing quite a stir in the Sea-to-Sky this year! After winning the Brackendale Art Gallery’s very own Battle of the Bands in January, they have gone on to play major festival stages across the Sea to Sky, and beyond, including the Squamish Arts Festival in July. Known for their high energy, dance inducing grooves, the Zummers released their first single, Grenoble, in August to critical acclaim. Now they are back with their second Single, Pour no more, a tongue-in-cheek R&B slow jam featuring humourous but still unapologetically seductive vocals about a borderline obsession with an ex (or maybe their adult film star doppleganger!). This charming soul-ballad homage to Prince , reminiscent of Beck’s Debra, demonstrates the Zummers versatility but constant commitment to Groove. Come celebrate the release of Pour No More, just one of the many bangers that will get you on your feet and dancing the night away.
Don't miss The Hausplants debut at The BAG, fresh from their July 2025 performance at Khatsilano Fest. The Hausplants are an independent post-punk trio from the ‘Vancouver’ Canada. Hailing from Iran, Mongolia, and the USA, their sound is a synthesis of their diverse backgrounds in music and life. The band came together in 2022 to create music that is liberated, energetic, and experimental. They have played numerous shows in their adopted city over the last two years. Their self-produced and self-released EP ‘Bright, Indirect Light’ was released in December 2023. Their sophomore EP ‘Into Equilibrium’ was released in February 2025.
