Join us for a casual and fun fireside gathering on the river to share snacks and your experiences, questions, and insights about polyamory, love, and relationships.
We'll have a fire on the Mamquam River, or, if it’s raining we’ll meet at Locavore (we’ll post an update day-of).
What to bring:
- Your favourite snacks to share - bonus points for bonfire friendly treats!
- Warm drinks in your mug,
- Something warm or off the ground to sit on,
- Your curiosity about alternative loving relationships models.
**Accessibility**
Together we commit to creating an environment of respect. People of all ethnicities, races, abilities, genders, sexualities, ages, sizes, religions, cultures, and people respectful of alternative relationships styles are welcome!
Mamquam Riverside location: Near the Mamquam spawning channels and Curling Club,

Locavore (if it's raining): The event takes place outdoors underneath an open sided shelter where there are picnic tables. If it’s chilly we can move indoors to Locavore. It is accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. There are individual washrooms accessible by ramp. There is no need to purchase anything to attend and be in the space.
**The Land**
This event takes place on the territory of Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, which is unceded, meaning this land was never surrendered, relinquished, or handed over in any way by the Squamish Nation to the settler government. We're committed to learning from local Indigenous leaders and communities who have been stewards of this place and have had a relationship with this land since time immemorial. Especially when it comes to practicing so-called alternative relationship styles, we continue to learn how Indigenous peoples practice and have practiced loving relationships in many ways outside of the cis-hetero-normative way, ways that have been erased or attempted to be erased by settler colonialism and white supremacy.
