Introduction to Concussions and Baseline Testing Workshop

Concussions are common in youth sport- but with the right knowledge, families can respond early and safely. In this session we will go through current updates on what a concussion is, how we can identify it in youth, and what safe first steps in concussion management. This session is led by Rylee Stephens (DC MSc), a Squamish sports chiropractor who specializes in concussion care and return-to-play guidance.

Participants will gain:

✧ What a concussion is & how to spot early symptoms and red flags
✧ What a baseline test & potential benefits of doing one
✧ What to do in the short and long term after a head injury
