Willow Basket Weaving Class with Candice!

Join our amazing basket weaving instructor, Candice Cullum, for an evening class where we will use willow, red osier dogwood, and other natural materials to weave a beautiful basket. These are solid base baskets which means the bases or the bottom of the baskets are a piece of wood that you weave on top of. Not only is it an interesting skill to learn, but it is a very calming and enjoyable craft once you get the hang of the technique!

Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Meeting Location: Backyard Birds Nature Shop (15-100 King Street, Spruce Grove, AB)
Cost: $80+tax = $84.00 for all of the supplies and instruction needed to make a solid base willow basket! Full prepayment for this workshop is required because we are using willow boughs that need to be collected prior to the class.
