Ceramic animal making workshop

Pauline studied studio ceramics at Hornsby TAFE in the late 1980s, followed by a year of clay and glaze technology with Chris James. She spent five years throwing honey pots for David Jones and taught children in her home studio for over 30 years. It was this long experience teaching children that inspired her love of quirky animal forms. Deeply committed to wheel throwing, she developed a method that allows her animals to always emerge from thrown forms. Pauline has also been an active member of the CSG committee for around 20 years and regularly runs raku workshops for the group.
We are so lucky to have Pauline share her knowledge with us in a full day workshop Feb 28th 2026 in Springwood NSW.
