If you've already take the Weaving the Wild: Basics workshops, you will be well prepared to process and complete more in this workshop. Because you have the basics of weaving, you may be able to complete two baskets!
NOTE: This is a 2 part workshop.
Session 1: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
This is an estimate and will depend on your personal timing. You may need longer or you may finish earlier. You will be welcome to stay as long as you need to finish your base.
Participants will learn how the materials are harvested, processed and prepared while also having the opportunity to prepare materials. We will then make cordage with materials that have already been prepared for class and complete the base for our baskets.
Session 2: 10:30 am until finished
In this session, we will finish our baskets and complete a border.
Tea, coffee, fruit, cookies, crackers and cheese are provided, but feel free to bring a lunch or any other snacks that you wish to have throughout the days.
This workshop is hosted at the Wild Arts Learning studio in Springfield, MO. For locals, it's just out east Sunshine, around the bend from Turner's Station. The address and directions are emailed upon booking.
