The Legacy and MGA Board are proud to present The Barn Smoker, A Member - Guest Event, kicking off Friday, September 26 with a Welcome Reception before play begins Saturday morning. Cocktail Hour will begin at 6:00, before Dinner is served 7:00 and the Calcutta begins at 7:15. Practice Round Tee Times will be available via Shotgun Start beginning at 2:00 on Friday, and are available to schedule by calling the Golf Shop at 615.384.4653.
Members will invite their guests to compete across 5 matches within their own flight (three on Saturday and two on Sunday), with the winner of each flight advancing to an alternate shot derby. Matches will be scored with every hole being worth one point, and match winners earning an extra point.
All competitors will receive a gift and two meals for their participation, with prizes or payouts for The Barn Smoker Champions, Flight Winners, and Closest to the Pin Contests.
Registration will open Saturday, June 14 and the Deadline for Registration is Friday, August 29. Entry Fees for The Barn Smoker are $450/team, and entry fees can be paid via Unknown Golf if registering online, or directly to

A simple format explanation is included below...
2 Day, 5 Rounds of 9 Hole Match Play Round Robin. Teams are awarded 1 Point for each hole Won, .5 Points for each Hole Tied. In addition, they are awarded 1 Point for winning the match, and .5 Points for Tieing the match.
