Lunch Meeting with Guest Speaker Matt Springer of Friends of the Children!

We're heading to PublicHouse in Springfield for December's lunch meeting, featuring special guest speaker Matt Springer of Friends of the Children Lane County!

About Matt:
Matt Springer is the Executive Director of Friends of the Children Lane County, where his career in social services began 25 years ago. Matt holds a Master's in Public Policy and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon and previously worked for many of Lane County's nonprofit organizations including stints at Northwest Youth Corps and Looking Glass. Fueled by a strong commitment to social justice and systems reform, Matt championed sweeping changes in the higher education system in Montana prior to returning to Lane County in 2017. Matt and his wife, their twin children, and two dogs, Beans and Hank, live in Eugene where an affinity for Sweet Life's cinnamon rolls presents a persistent distraction.
